At this time of year anyone who works in the lower part of via Pasitea will be snacking on nespole (or Medlar fruit in English) from this tree. Ripe with fruit all through May but you have to lean perilously over the wall to get to the fruits. I managed to snag a branch yesterday!
I saw some tourists grabbing some from that tree today! I wondered what they were and what they might be like. I might have to try to get some tomorrow on my way past. Lisa x
